A Very Special Invitation To Bike Clubs

Following the huge success of the 2006 event at Mac Park in South Australia, The Post Classic Racing Association of NSW is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the staging of the 2007 Australian Historic Road Race Championships by Motorcycling Australia

The PCRA is a successful promoter of both club, state and national race events staging a full calendar of club road race rounds, the highly successful annual Barry Sheene Memorial Race Meeting and the 1 Hour race weekend event in October every year at Wakefield The 2007 Australian Historic Road Race Championships will take place over 3 days at The Eastern Creek International Raceway in October 2007. Track and computer timed practice will take place on the Friday of the event with a huge programme of racing on the Saturday and the Sunday of the event.

MORE THAN JUST A RACE MEETING

The Post Classic racing Association of NSW will further enhance the race meeting by offering Spectators and riders more that just a race meeting

Michael Combley, managing promotional activity for this race event promises much more than just a race event:

"The Barry Sheene Memorial Race Meeting held in March every year offers a great blue print for this type of race meeting.

Once again we will be offering spectators and riders an affordable, family experience including The Sunday Swap Meet, The Sunday Show & Shine competition, collectable merchandise and memorabilia, trade stands, club meeting points in the paddock and displays of special machines. But this year we will be approaching bike clubs and offering historic machine clubs the chance to offer their members a really exciting ride out destination.

This race meeting is going to be one of the biggest and interesting race meetings NSW has seen in a very long time "

FREE PADDOCK STANDS AND ENTRY PASSES FOR BIKE CLUBS

This race meeting will attract hard-core historic bike enthusiasts, weekend riders and families looking for an interesting day out. The PCRA are expecting over 250 race machine entries featuring a wide range of historic racing machinery This a great chance for bike clubs to promote themselves and also provide a superb ride out destination for club members We will be pleased to provide clubs with a 3 metre square position in the back of the pit area at the track. Bring along the shade tent ($35ish from Supacheap Auto), the folding chairs and the table. Park up a couple of your bikes in front of the stand and spread out the leaflets
