The promoters of the Aircom Systems Australian Sidecar Championships look like they're on a winner with the lunch time Sidecar Pit Lane walk.

Following in the tradition of the World Superside Teams, the Australian Sidecar Teams and of course Messrs Abbott and Biggs, are putting on a fine lunchtime exhibition. Crowds are queuing to try and get a look at what makes a sidecar team tick.

The teams are lined up in pit lane for everyone to inspect their machines and have a friendly chat with the riders and passengers.

And it is not only the fans that are pleased with the exposure. “It’s fantastic this year to have so much interest in the sidecars. Of course it helps with Steve and Jamie being here, however there is genuine interest in all the teams and that can only be good for the sport” commented fellow sidecar competitors Adam Treasure and Lionel Cornwell.

Steve and Jamie have been delighted with the exposure sidecars are attracting and have stated that “sidecars here in Australia have great potential to draw in the crowds. This was done in the UK and the spectators love it”.

Team Aircom Castrol would like to thank AUSCO and all the people who were behind the scenes to make this lunchtime event possible.
