The 2008 Barry Sheene Memorial Race Meeting is on over the 21st, 22nd & 23rd of March 2008 at Eastern Creek Raceway. This race meeting is dedicated to the memory of the late, great Barry Sheene - double world champion, commentator, TV personality, wit, raconteur and all round great bloke!

The Barry Sheene Memorial meeting is a weekend of fantastic bike racing open to a huge range of historic, production racing and modified motorcycles manufactured up to 1995. Spectators are able to access all the pit areas and all spectator points around the Eastern Creek circuit for a memorable weekend of superb classic and contemporary road racing.

Race Practice is on Friday the 9th of March (Trackday is open to any motorcycle competition license holder). Racing over the Saturday and Sunday will feature PRE 1950, PRE 1968, Period 4, Period 5, New Era 1, New Era 2, Motolites, Superlites and Sidecar classes.

The Giant Sunday Swap Meet and Show & Shine are free (entry is inlcuded in the price of admission). Clear out that shed or garage and turn a dollar or enter your prife and joy in the Show 'n Shine.
Thousands of spectators will be trawling through a wide range of memorabilia or looking that vital component needed to complete their latest project and a wide range of exotic and desirable bikes will be on display at the Show 'n Shine.
