I attended last Sunday's Sidecar experience day at Oran Park and thought I must write my two bits worth!

I had an absolute ball. I was one of very few women who went along to have a go and it was one of the most exhilarating things I've ever done!

Thanks to the support of the guys and ladies who do race the sidecars, they encouraged me to not only get on once with Doug Chivas but to come back for more on other outfits long and short... I had two or more turns with a couple of the long bikes (and short) and they were very kind to me (apparently!). Even though it felt like I was going very fast only a few inches above the track! I have some great shots (thanks to my hubby) to show my kids and grandkids (one day).

Everyone I have shown the photos to are very impressed as I was with the organisation of the day, the support and the smooth running of the event.

Thanks to all at Annandale Leichhardt Motorcycle Club. I'm just sorry that I don't know the names of the riders so that I can thank them for the great experience. Please pass on my appreciation.
